I guess I’m ready to start this new series Around My House, I mean how ready can you be with showing off your house when it’s not your – just rented for 2 years. But I put my heart and soul into making it feel like a HOME. First step my bedroom. It’s a mix of dark Indian wooden furniture and some teak wood pieces that we have collected over the past year here in Singapore. That’s all mixed with some blue and white Chinese porcelain vases, Vietnamese paintings and patchwork bedcover and grey Persian carpet.
Oooh, this is so exciting! I love that you’re showing me your home!

Your bedroom is lovely Anna – beautiful colours and furniture, I especially love the corner chair. I look forward to seeing some more of your home x
It’s very calming and peaceful Anna. Absolutely lovely. And I love the Vietnamese pictures!

Hi ANNA!!
Your bedroom looks so beautiful, fresh and…airy!
I love that chair in the corner!
Thank you for the award, thank you for always thinking about me!

I looooove peeking through other people’s houses and love your bedroom! So lovely and it seems that you have a lot of natural light. So you live in Singapore! I have a bad memory, so I might have already said this to you (I’m sorry if I’m repeating myself. I seem to do this often and I don’t want to admit that I’m aging!!), I lived there from 1992 to 1995. Singapore will always be a special country to me. I am also happy to know that we are sort of neighbors. I live in Jakarta. Only an hour and a half flight away! ๐ I’m sure I will pay a visit to Singapore at some point of our 3-year stay in Indonesia and if we get to do that before you’ll leave, I’d love to meet you then!
Make sure you let me know once you are in Singapore we can arrange to met together with Marie ๐
I forgot. I know exactly what you mean. We’re in Jakarta for 3 years and I put my heart and soul into making this house home especially the interior of the house isn’t necessarily my style and I wanted to make it more like our place. Sigh. But, it’s totally worth the efforts even if it’s for the short period of time.
