Just a quick ‘Hi’

Just popping in to say a warm ‘hello’ to all the lovely ladies out there who visit and read my little blog. I’ve been in and out of the house, visiting playgrounds, having friends over for playdates, going away for short trips. Here are just a few photos from our favourite place in the region – Bali. It’s close enough to go even for 2 nights. It’s been a mixed business with pleasure trip this time. I’m going to share more details later.

In the meantime hope you all had a great weekend and I’ll be visiting your blogs shortly, just need to catch up on some house chores.

Have a sunny happy week!

Weekend recall

Weekend is around the corner and in my mind I’m still recalling our previous weekend trip to Bali. Mid summer is the best time to go there, the weather is fantastic, breezy, warm, sunny just right and pleasant. This time we stayed at the Candidasa beach. A bit further out from the airport but quiet and lovely. Perfect for a family hideout and perfect to recharge. We did not much just chilled at the cosy hotel, walked along the coast collecting shells and stones.

Wishing all a relaxing weekend!

Stylish luxurious Bali retreat

Planning my trip to Bali I knew that all I needed most was to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle of crowded places and noisy pools. The search criteria were simple – cosy, charming, small, stylish. And there it was! Snuggled into the beachside mangroves of Jimbaran in southern Bali, The Shaba and Villa Balquisse are gorgeously designed colonial-mansion hotels. Where service is fabulous, relaxation guaranteed it’s a magical and, more importantly, utterly private place. With nothing more to say enjoy my pictures as they say it all.The Shaba Bali and Villa Balquisse, Jalan Uluwatu 18 x, Jimbaran 80361, Bali, Indonesia

Bali delight

There is nothing more soothing the senses than a tranquil Balinese landscape and interiors. With such beautiful surroundings and rich architectural heritage, Bali is the perfect place to recharge, get inspired and unwind. That’s where I was lucky to be last week with a friend of mine. Feels like you leave the whole world behind and grasp the breathtaking sights, the lavish greenery and the architectural jewels. Enjoy some of my pictures.
