New party theme – nautical/pirate

This is a theme that my son Pipo picked for himself last year right after his race car birthday (here & here). He has already decided what the next one is going to be 🙂  I know that all pirate themed parties are mainly black and red but I wanted this one to be a mix of a nautical and pirate theme. With the blue & white stripes and the red it’s a perfect combination and gives plenty more styling ideas for the whole party.  can’t wait to start the preparations for that party but it’s still some time to go. In the meantime the printable set for customization is already available on etsy

Easter Around My Table

This year’s pre Easter brunch is behind me. As I’ll be away from home I’d already had the pleasure of hosting it. What I’m really proud of are the marzipan carrots *big smile* on top of the carrot/oatmeal cupcakes. I’ve used my ‘Happy Easter’ printables for the table decorations, available on etsy again. And here is what you can do with them:

Easter inspirations

For Easter this year I have chosen a vivid & happy design and table setting. It’s a  sunny yellow, fresh green and a touch of lilac. The printables that include a greeting card, food tents, blank note cards, stickers and cupcake toppers are already on sale. I’m hosting the first pre Easter brunch this weekend so I’ll be able to show you the overall look. In the meantime wishing all a great weekend!

Sweets for My Sweet

…little boy! I held a Valentine’s party with some sweet treats yesterday. Was that nice to indulge in a bit of chocolate fondue, donuts and cakes. Much appreciated on a cold winter evening. The decor may seem a bit kitschy but isn’t that the idea? We still had a lovely sweet time. And what was your  Valentine’s day like this year?

Winter Wonderland Party Theme

Hello to all and Happy New Year! Hope it’s a good and prosperous one for you and your families!

The amazing Kristin of A Page of Inspiration has posted photos from her daughter’s birthday party that she has prepared using my printables. What a joy and honor, thank you dear! I just couldn’t wait to share them on my blog as well. The party was for her daughter’s 14th birthday and the theme was Winter Wonderland which is perfect for this time of the year and the place where Kristin lives.

To view the full post please visit Kristin’s blog here. Soon the party available in my etsy shop.

Racing with time

What a mother’s got to do she’s got to do, no matter what. This was a race with time and the amount of work to be done. I was rushing with the unpacking and setting up only to be ready for the birthday party of Pipo. I had nothing ready before just the inspiration so the designs were done from scratch. But I have to say, considering the circumstance, I’m pretty happy with the result and most importantly the birthday boy was impressed and he enjoyed it. Here is the set I’ve prepared, which soon will be available on etsy. Photos from party coming shortly, can’t seem to find time to work on them yet.
