I’m a big melamine fan for the functionality, simplicity and the bright colors. It makes any playdate, any snack looks so playful and cheerful. I use it not only for the children gatherings but also for any outdoor meals. Make life colorful and simple – I say with a big warm *smile*. Have a great week!

The little sailor’s room
My Singer
Finally found the one! Old but in perfect condition Singer sewing machine. As I have a new machine I’m using I don’t need that one but I’m in great need of a computer desk, it’s going to be perfect. The question is what table top to use. Thank you for your ideas on facebook. Here is what I have found that inspires me. Glass is good as you can see the entire bottom, white table top also nice, easy to clean and bright, goes well with the black, and finally a piece of row stained wood. I’ve also seen mosaic tops and the original filled with glass (in the place where the machine is missing). Well, something to thing about. In the future I’d like to place it somewhere as it is, just need more space. In the meantime I’m looking forward to more ideas and suggestions 🙂
Thanks in advance.

The Fun Part One
The fun part about moving places is that you get to change and decorate everything all over. And while waiting for our container to arrive I’m preparing our new place for the overflow of our stuff. My main priority – Pipo’s room. Over the weekend I have painted his room white (the wall here were in mocca colour) and believe me it was a challenge. But that’s luckily done! I have ordered the stripy wallpaper for one one wall, that I’m so happy about. Â And below showing you my ideas/inspiration for his room. It’s still within the blue/red/white/pirate/nautical style as his previous room but it’s great that I can implement some changes.
Wishing you all a great week ahead and can’t wait to catch up with all the fantastic blogs out there.
Just love the Captain Sharky styled room – genius!
Let’s go nautical
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Here in Singapore it’s been raining with thunders since morning. So I thought of how great it’d be to have a bit of sea sun and sand feeling now. I love the nautical theme for boys’ room from Pottery Barn, it makes you feel like summer at the seaside all year long. I have ordered some items to my son’s room and will be happy to share it with you once it’s in his room.Â
The perfect office space
A clever idea for a work space in a part of a small room. Not many of us have enough space for an office but often adapting a part of different room can give us the comfort of working in some privacy and peace. I love this cosy office space that has wisely utilized the small space in what used to be a laundry/storage room.

The joy of spring
No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow. ~Proverb
Especially for you today fresh and awakening spring flower arrangements. Have a lovely day!
It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!

Loving kids rooms
Spring collection
Why do we like household fabrics so much? The delicate colours and designs of kitchen towels, tablecloths and cushions takes over and we do shop for more and for new. Here is the new spring 2011 collections at my favourite Nyblom Kollen. I couldn’t resist.
Pottery Jungle
A dear friend of mine has taken me to this hidden jewel in the jungle this week – a place where you can find Asian pottery and porcelain. For me a blue and white paradise! Thow Kwan Pottery Jungle produces a wide range of decorative items but also imports traditional Chinese ceramics and porcelain. The first visit is just overwhelming, that’s why I took some photos so next time I will know what to focus on. And I only got myself a few smaller items but I can’t wait to go back there.
Thank you Yosi!
