Easter Around My Table

This year’s pre Easter brunch is behind me. As I’ll be away from home I’d already had the pleasure of hosting it. What I’m really proud of are the marzipan carrots *big smile* on top of the carrot/oatmeal cupcakes. I’ve used my ‘Happy Easter’ printables for the table decorations, available on etsy again. And here is what you can do with them:

Easter inspirations

For Easter this year I have chosen a vivid & happy design and table setting. It’s a  sunny yellow, fresh green and a touch of lilac. The printables that include a greeting card, food tents, blank note cards, stickers and cupcake toppers are already on sale. I’m hosting the first pre Easter brunch this weekend so I’ll be able to show you the overall look. In the meantime wishing all a great weekend!

Easter planning

I thought of Easter this year would be wonderful in the polka dots. They are always so cheerful. And I’m not home for Easter this year but I thought of making a small sweet party for some friends. I have had some decor items in stock already for this event and I’m happy I can use it.. The lovely cupcake circles and food tags I’ve got through Catch My Party and the polka dots napkins I once won as a giveaway over at A Page Of Inspiration, the rest I gradually accumulated from local store here in Singapore. I love the color scheme (pink, yellow, green) with the sweet little white dots.  Here are my preparations, inspirations. You have got to believe me I’m still super busy, Phillip still off, I’ve got the Easter party to put together, I’m helping a friend create a birthday party for her little girl plus getting organized to leave for Easter.

So I’m popping in to wish you all a great week.

Easter around my table

Can’t believe that the Easter weekend has just finished and we are back to regular activities again. It was different this year, being in a new country far away from families and friends but still we tried to make the best out of it and had a wonderful time. Easter brunch with new friends, egg hunt for the kids, relaxing time at home.  Hope you had a great time as well!

Getting ready for Easter – table decoration

I think it’s high time to get Easter planning. First on my list – table decoration. Just found some nice ideas and inspirations but still not sure what I will go for. They are all beautiful and perfectly bring out the spring spirit.

One option is to go for the glitzy, gold, silver, crystal with pink touches.

Or go for the English country tea style.

How about the fresh herbs idea?

Cherry blossoms centerpiece.

Happy pastels.

And last this is how Easter table looks at my grandma’s, some years back.
