Pipo’s KG teacher is getting married next weekend and I came up with the idea to prepare a special gift for her. Basket full of sunny flowers with the children’s happy faces. It was so much fun preparing it. I’ve asked another teacher to help out with the cardboard flowers, and it was the kids actually doing them. After I’d taken photos of the group, I printed them on a cardboard and glued them on the flowers. The basket is filled with a sponge and moss on top. Easy and so much better than just a bouquet of fresh flowers, in this case. I hope she is going to love the idea and the effort, as the children we really excited and secretive about it in front of her 🙂 It can be a perfect end of school gift or a farewell one as well.

I’m a big melamine fan for the functionality, simplicity and the bright colors. It makes any playdate, any snack looks so playful and cheerful. I use it not only for the children gatherings but also for any outdoor meals. Make life colorful and simple – I say with a big warm *smile*. Have a great week!

I’m in the mood for gathering some ideas for summer decorations, summer dinning and summer food. All of that slowly ending up in my inspiration folder and on my Pinterest boards. The above poster is my definition of summer and it reminds me of my favorite chill out song by Arnica Montana. Feel free to download the poster if you like it. Below a few ideas that I’m currently working on, decorating with ropes. Perfect summer detail.
All images found on Pinterest, poster designed by me. More inspirations in my summer dinning board here.
Enjoy your summer days!!!

Was your weekend as creative as mine? Pipo has been obsessed with two things lately; Angry Birds and Playmais, combine those two together and this is how creative he gets 🙂 We have discovered Playmais a year ago but it’s only now that Pipo started to play with it and create on his own. It keeps his busy for hours plus he get to play with the ready items for many more. And there was a flower for mummy *love*

This is a theme that my son Pipo picked for himself last year right after his race car birthday (here & here). He has already decided what the next one is going to be 🙂  I know that all pirate themed parties are mainly black and red but I wanted this one to be a mix of a nautical and pirate theme. With the blue & white stripes and the red it’s a perfect combination and gives plenty more styling ideas for the whole party.  can’t wait to start the preparations for that party but it’s still some time to go. In the meantime the printable set for customization is already available on etsy.Â

It’s my comfort food and get well food, an absolute favorite. This simple yet sophisticated in flavor soup is rich and enough as a complete meal thanks to the rice noodles. For me it’s the best way to have a broth, as the spices and condiments make it more festive and Asian. Hope you can try it for yourself, you’ll find the recipe below. Enjoy!
Vietnamese PhởÂ
1 l fresh stock (beef/chicken) cooked with spices: 2 anise stars, 1 cinamon stick, 3 cloves, 1 onion, 2cm ginger, 2 cardamon seeds.
to prepare the bowl you need to fill them with cooked rice (bahn pho) noodles, ready broth andÂ
garnish with bean sprouts, spring onion, coriander leaves, fresh chilli and sprinkle with 1/4 lime juice.
Doesn’t it sound easy? Believe me it is and it tastes just amazing!

And again some time has passed and I’ve been away from my computer. I’ve visited my dear  friend in Munich that just delivered a sweet baby girl, I’ve attended a charming wedding at the Baltic Sea at the Grand Heiligendamm, I’ve been busy with my work and housework as well. Slowly catching up and planning things ahead. In the meantime I’m enjoying the sunny days, green grass and my cosy balcony.
Wishing you all a happy and relaxing weekend.
